We got a call from someone who had very loose carpet on their stairs. Apparantly when it was originally installed the installers didn’t stretch it OR push it down onto the tack strip so it all came loose:
Joe went out and loosened the entire staircase and made sure the padding was nice and straight and then, one step at a time, put the carpet back and stretched each step both ways to make sure it was good and tight. Then before going on to the next stair he made sure it was very secure on the tack strip so it wouldn’t loosen up for a long long time:
